what is AAPG School ?

- AAPG CUSC School is geoscience course that are related to oil industry given
by expert in different companies & our faculty professors .

- This school is for all 3 rd and 4 th year students as fresh graduates to be
in contact with work fields and get experiences about real work mangement.

*) if you want to apply in AAPG school you should be :

-astudent in 3rd & 4 th year
-student in geology or geophysics department
-student should pass an interview
-classes are limited for 40 student

*) to get your certificate you should :
attend 90 % of sessions of a etch class
( 3 sessions absence are allowed )
in software part if applied student didn't attend
one session his certificate for both software and
school would be cancelled unless he/she gives an accepted reason .
certificate of the school depend on student's behavior.

*) Certieficate :

Each applied sudent will get certificate containing class
with its courses from CUSC AAPG and sponsor companies presenter with
certificate that he had learned software that he been studied.

CUSC ( cairo university student chapter ) :

one of AAPG student chapters of 145 chapters around the world
in egypt our bourd represents the AAPG in cairo under the supervision of selected supervisor.
our student chapter supervisor is Dr. ahmed El-barkooky the responsible of AAPG in middle east & north africa.

we aim to develop the role of geoscience in petroleum industry
by developing ourselves as the careers devolped be helpful, ambitius and useful.

we need to be qaulified for difeerent work fields not only by faculty
courses but also by our activities ...

our student chapter bourd has been elected innov. 2007
many different activites have been departed ( field trips, presentation, courses etc .. )
to our members and our depatrtment collegues under super vision of experts in
companies and professor in our department ...
